Recruiting Rutgers Future Scholars

Grant Reid, University Relations Manager at AT&T, regularly works with Rutgers’ Office of Career Services. “It’s been great to partner with them; everything we’ve needed they’ve been able to provide on a timely basis,” he says.

AT&T hired 65 Rutgers grads last year and employs more than 900 Rutgers alumni. Reid says “They are not just STEM graduates but, for example, people from the business school who work in sales.”

AT&T funds the Rutgers Future Scholars program, and works to encourage minority and female students to enter science, technology and engineering fields.

“Rutgers is among the best in terms of what we’re trying to accomplish on campus,” Reid says.
